“Jim Corbett National park” is considered as India’s oldest national park and first tiger reserve. It was founded in 1936, named Hailey National Park. In 1955 it was rechristened as Ramganga National Park. Finally in the honour of the grate hunter and naturalist, late Jim Corbett it changed to Jim Corbett National Park. |
